Sat, May 1st: SCS Season Opener ~ looked great in
the heat race, had some technical difficulties to work out before the A but got it taken care of; drew 9th to start
the feature & ended up having a broken gear so not such great luck overall... on to the Beaver, hopefully better luck
there...
Wed, May 5th: BVR ~ won his heat, then had some brake
issues in the feature so that didn't go so well... always a bit frustrating getting it tuned in again... still hoping for
that 'better luck' to kick in any time now :)
Sat, May 8th: SCS ~ Brrr! Won his heat & was doing
pretty good in the feature... in 3rd place when someone tried to drive OVER him & wrecked him with 2 laps to go
:( Yep, still waiting on the "luck" to change, @ least the car handled better tonite tho...
Wed, May 12th: BVR ~ cancelled
Sat, May 15th: SCS ~ won his heat race; started front
row outside for the feature & managed to hold off the pack through 4-5 cautions, managed to get a good lead going when
another unfortunate caution came out with 4 to go & a couple hard chargers who'd managed to work their way through the
pack while Chris had secured the lead. With the restart bringing everyone back together, he was only able to hold onto the
lead for another lap or so before Dustin got around him. Finished with a much improved 2nd! So happy to be
out of the DNF column!!
Wed, May 19th: BVR ~ had a pretty good run going, car
was working better...started front row outside & managed to take over the lead about 1/3 into the race. Held onto the
lead until less than 2 laps to go when someone got into him in turns 3-4 & took him out. No damage but not fun having
to go to the back of the pack after having a good run going :(
Sat, May 22nd: SCS ~ looked good in the heat &
won that...only to have the dreaded 'bad luck' prevail once again in the feature. Had some contact in 1&2 which lead to
a broken brake line, ball joint, a-frame etc... into the pit early again
Wed, May 26th: BVR ~ got 3rd in the heat, had some awesome
runs in the Stock Car King of the Hill & WON =) got 6th in the feature ~ car got tight & wasn't handling
the way he would've liked
Sat, May 29th: SCS ~ managed to finish 2nd in the feature
due to the 2nd place car taking out the 1st place car on the last lap/turn 4 ... UNFORTUNATELY, we got claimed by #6M.
Part of racing, yes, but pretty frustrating all the same
Wed, June 2nd: BVR ~ very heavy track tonite, not a lot
of passing going on; finished 6th
Sat, June 5th: SCS ~ RAINED OUT
Wed, June 9th: BVR ~ still trying to get that set-up
fine tuned; 5th
Sat, June 12th: SCS ~ RAINED OUT
Wed, June 16th: BVR ~ {USMTS} 2nd in heat, 2nd in feature
Sat, June 19th: SCS~ got cancelled due to weather after
the heats & a couple features, didn't get us in...
Wed, June 23rd: BVR ~ 4th
Sat, June 26th: SCS ~ Double features: 4th in the
1st one & 3rd in the 2nd
Mon, June 28th: Marshalltown ~ {Stock Car Shootout} not
so great draw started off the nite with a challenge & had to run a B, got 2nd & made the A starting 9th row of 12...
worked his way up to 10th
Tues, June 29th: BVR ~ {Stock Car Shootout} had to run
the B again, got 6th in the feature
Wed, June 30th: Independence ~ {Stock Car Shootout} won
his heat & got 5th in the feature
Sat, July 3rd: SCS~ 9th
Wed, July 7th: BVR ~ rained out
Sat, July 10th: SCS ~ 13th {didn't make the invert in
the heat & started in the back row... ugh!}
Wed, July 14th: BVR ~ rained out... again! :(
Sat, July 17th: SCS~ 7th
Wed, July 21st: Crawford County Speedway Fair Race ~ ran
the 2010 Whoop for the heat, but switched back to the 'broken in one' for the A {which resulted in having to start in
the back for changing cars}. Not a whole lot of opportunity for passing, but got up to 6th for the checkers
Thurs, July 22nd: BVR ~ {Fair Race} rained out, yet again!
Wed, July 28th: BVR ~not a whole lot of good luck for
the 01u tonite... a couple "in the wrong place @ the wrong time" incidences, but managed to get back up to 10th to finish
the A
